Partners
Two partners. Two continents. One mandate.
KUSA Capital Group was founded by two partners with senior responsibility across both ends of the corridor. Every mandate is led directly by one of them.
Co-Founder · Dallas
Daniel Mwangi
Managing Partner · United States
Daniel leads KUSA Capital Group's United States–based engagement from Dallas, Texas. His work centres on capital structuring, U.S. market entry, and cross-border partnerships across investor, enterprise, family-office, and project-sponsor mandates.
Before founding KUSA, Daniel built and operated multiple enterprises across transportation, healthcare, and strategic advisory — gaining direct, on-the-ground experience with how investment actually moves through real operating businesses on both sides of the corridor. That operator's lens informs every mandate he leads today.
Daniel is responsible for U.S. counterparty relationships, EB-5 eligible structuring (with licensed immigration counsel), strategic advisory mandates, and overall firm strategy in North America.
Areas of focus — Investment structuring · U.S. real estate · EB-5 eligible mandates · Cross-border M&A · Diaspora investor guidance

Peris Mwangi
Managing Partner · Kenya & East Africa
Peris leads KUSA Capital Group's Kenya and East Africa engagement from Nairobi. Her work spans investor advisory, transaction governance, due-diligence coordination, and stakeholder alignment for both inbound and outbound mandates across the corridor.
Peris's professional background includes operating leadership across healthcare, wellness, and community-focused enterprises in Kenya — giving her a working understanding of how counterparty, governance, and execution risk actually play out on the ground. She brings that perspective to every diligence and structuring mandate the firm accepts.
Peris is responsible for Kenyan counterparty relationships, title and SPV structuring, due-diligence coordination with licensed local counsel, and KUSA's standing across East African regulator, banking, and partner networks.

A Joint Statement
On working as one team.
We do not operate as two regional partners. We operate as one firm — split across two markets — and every mandate is reviewed across both desks before we accept it. That is how this corridor deserves to be advised. — Daniel & Peris Mwangi
